Into The Woods

Flyleaf Theater Company presents Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine.

When a Baker and his Wife learn they have been cursed with childlessness by the Witch next door, they set off "Into the Woods" for the means to break the spell. Along the way they encounter Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack, Rapunzel, and several other characters also seeking the means to grant their own wishes. As the characters find success, however, they also find their actions come with disastrous consequences. Though a lively fantasy on the surface, "Into the Woods" carries with it important and moving lessons about good, evil, community, fear, and responsibility.
