Amanda Casale is the Operations and Executive Manager, as well as one of the ecstatically proud co-founders of the Flyleaf Theater Company! Amanda holds a B.S. in Chemical/Biological Engineering and Mathematics from Tufts University as well as a Masters in Statistics from Harvard University. By day, she works as an engineer for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and, by night, puts all her time and effort in to all things theater. While at Tufts, Amanda danced and choreographed for Tufts Dance Collective and Tufts Burlesque Troupe, speciailizing in hip-hop, burlesque, and gymcraftics (tumbling), with particular emphasis on spatial awareness/usage and strength training. Since beginning her theatrical pursuits in the fall of 2009, she has performed in, choreographed, and/or produced dozens of productions across Massachusetts and, in 2013, was named one of Pulse Magazine's 13 People to Watch in 2013. Favorite roles include Louise/Gypsy Rose Lee (Gypsy), Jo March (Little Woman: the Musical), Wendla (Spring Awakening), Hodel (Fiddler on the Roof), Lily St. Regis (Annie), and Mrs. Anderssen (A Little Night Music). Amanda is also half of a duo musical cabaret show, Amanda and Eric: Eric and Amanda, and dabbles in fit modeling, Spartan Races, sketch art, and sound engineering and design.
